Family Counseling

nancy For the past twenty years, Nancy Kislin, MSW, LCSW, has served the New Jersey community as a Marriage and Family Therapist giving clients the tools to deal with depression, anxiety, grief/separation and other life cycle transition issues. As a relationship expert, she helps families, parents, couples, and adolescents identify the lifestyle, emotional, and cognitive changes that can empower and support coping strategies to allow happiness into one’s life. Her unique methodology extends beyond symptom reduction to achieve complete health on an emotional, physical and spiritual level.

Ms. Kislin is also well adept in alternative healing modalities and is a strong believer in the mind/body connection. Through the integration of traditional methods she advocates a holistic approach to deal with deeper psychological issues and belief systems that block an individual from feeling fulfilled and at peace with ones’ self.

Nancy has served as Professor of Psychology at Kean University and Bloomfield College for over 12 yrs. She received her Masters in Social Work from Wurzeiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University and received Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy, Family Institute for Family Therapy, NJ. As a Professor in the Psychology Department at Kean University for 10 years, she facilitated lectures on the subjects of Abnormal Psychology, Understanding Your Self and Others and Sociology of the Family. Nancy is a primary keynote speaker on parenting and relationship issues and facilitates numerous parenting workshops in the community.
